Kristy Caldwell
Kristy Caldwell is an illustrator of children’s books, including the Adventures of Trim series, written by Deborah Hopkinson, and Flowers for Sarajevo, written by John McCutcheon. She spent her childhood in Louisiana, studied illustration at the School of Visual Arts, and currently teaches illustration at Queens College in New York, where she lives. She has also collaborated with theatre companies and literary journals, and spent a number of years working as a gallery archivist. She is enthusiastic about ping pong and boats but has, shockingly, never played ping pong on a boat.
